Puzzles

Kellen loves to play with puzzles. He has moved beyond the wooden kind to ones with actual pieces, though he needs help of course. Granny got him a really cool floor puzzle and they had lots of fun putting it together I don't know how many times at Granny's house. It was fun to watch them, but it was even more fun to watch Bonnie trying to thwart the putting together of the puzzle. She is starting to figure out how to best annoy her big brother and make up for the past few months of his "loving" gestures.

Sheets beware! You are subject to Bonnie's whims.

Christmas

Thank you everyone for all the wonderful presents! Kellen and Bonnie had a great Christmas; they both loved their presents (especially each other's). Dinosaur feet from Gran and Pa.

Bonnie's first baby. Her name is Claire.

Park pictures

Well, between sickness and basketball season Christmas cards didn't happen this year. But I was going to use this first picture (I think it's the first one I have of Kellen and Bonnie both smiling at the camera), so here are a few photos. Merry Christmas! (I'm thinking about sending out post-basketball season Easter cards. Maybe that will be our tradition. LOL)

Going to Work

Kellen and Bonnie like to play in our closet. They play hide and seek in Josh's clothes. Today while I was folding laundry I heard Kellen say, "Bye bye Bonnie. I go work now." Then he took a hanger and tried to fit it over her head. That was less cute.

Fighting Temptation

The weekend

Everybody had a great weekend, wherever they were. The kids enjoyed Lubbock and Dionne got married. I'll post pictures of the kids but all the ones of the wedding are on a film camera so you'll have to wait until I know the website of the photographer.

New Day

In response to Lesley's comment, here is my blog entry for 12/14. We went to a funeral in Temple today, and Bonnie went home with Josh's parents to Lubbock. The reasons for this last-minute plan are too complicated to type right now, but I know Bonnie will be fine (the question is: will I be fine?) until Josh gets there on Saturday and flies home with both kids on Sunday. I head to Kerrville tomorrow. So no blogging until probably Monday, when hopefully I'll have pictures to share of Kellen and Bonnie's "Christmas" weekend with their Jones family and tales to tell of my wild weekend with no kids. Oh, and happy birthday, Mom! Prayer requests: our family as we are separated; safety in travels; easy transitions for me and the kids; also, Dionne as she battles sickness and is getting married Saturday

Same Age

So here are the kids at the same age. I think Bonnie is older-looking than Kellen was at 10.5 months.

Here I am

OK, since Mom's credit card was stolen and babyjellybeans isn't paid for anymore, here is my blog. I will post when I have the chance. Today we went to the doctor's office for the 2nd time for Kellen's ear infection. He said it was getting better, but I'm glad we went so I don't have to worry the whole time I'm away from him. Tonight we have church, and tomorrow we'll be going to Temple for Josh's Uncle Andy's funeral. Tomorrow night Mom will be here and early Friday morning I'm headed to the Hill Country for Dionne's wedding. Mom will be with the kids. Good luck Mom!
